The Grow North Innovation District is one of the country’s leading incubators of innovation and growth across the tech sector and is home to 20% of the country’s highest revenue-generating technology export businesses.
Grow North is part of Auckland region’s rapidly growing north/south innovation corridor. The Grow North district is attracting international and emerging pioneering businesses with start-up incubators and shared- workspaces locating next to some of NZ’s top secondary schools, a large university and new residential development.
The Grow North Innovation District is a not for profit initiative driven by experienced front-line leaders from industry, university and local government who are collaborating to connect diverse business and education communities within the district into a cohesive ‘living innovation platform’, with the purpose of encouraging and launching more innovation, more research and development, and speeding up the garage-to- global journey.
Grow North is supported by Massey University, BNZ and GRID/AKL. Grow North’s partners include TIN, Smales Farm, Shore Junction, Ecentre and business incubators, business associations and the pioneering business community.
